That is why we have hired the best candidates available in the Greater Houston area and offer them competitive pay, health insurance, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, bonuses, and a work environment second to none. We want the technicians, apprentices, and journeyman plumbers we hire to be well trained and up to date on the latest technology and service techniques, the industry has to offer.
Hexagon Plumbing places a high value on giving back to the community we serve and that’s why we support the local organizations in and around the Greater Houston area to include the Houston Food Bank, the Boys and Girls Club, and local little league sports teams. We also hope to be able to contribute our time to Habitat for Humanity and other similar organizations as the current global pandemic permits.

EXCELLENT Based on 53 reviews Posted on TeishaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Hexagon Plumbing were very fast in getting their guys out to fix a leak from the second floor bathroom down to my pantry on the first floor. Thomas and his apprentice were extremely polite, knowledgeable and even found a second problem with a disconnect/broken pipe from my A/C pan. The best part is they didn’t try to up-sale me on anything. They just offered to fix it while they were there with no pressure even said I could call the A/C company that installed my unit since it was just a couple years old. I told them to go ahead and fix it. With all of this said they were at my house about an hour, with everything fixed and no more worries. Their pricing was great for diagnosing, parts and labor compared to other plumbing companies I have used in the past. I hope someone finds this helpful I will definitely call them again if I have a plumbing issue! Great job guys and thank you so much!Posted on Jeffrey BoutteTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I used Hexagon for a whole-house repipe replacing my old steel pipes with modern PEX, and they definitely earned 5 stars. From the very beginning of the process (answering my phone calls and emails, quoting the job, transparent and competitive up front pricing) to the actual install, they were professional, punctual, respectful, and trustworthy. Thomas and Kory did a great job making the repairs and cleaning up. Definitely recommend.Posted on Kristi AndersTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fair pricing and quality work, highly recommendPosted on Cara BuckminsterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent service from start to finish! The plumber was friendly, knowledgeable, and fixed the issue quickly. Everything was left clean and working perfectly. I’ll definitely call them again if I ever need a plumber.Posted on Marc PTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Not transparent about over time rates and repair prices, also have had to have them come back repeatedly for simple fixes, whoever is in charge of this company needs to evaluate there business moving forward due to their refusal to honest about pricing breakdown and lack of customer servicePosted on Tyreece HamiltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very rudePosted on Sasha IversenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thanks to Jaime who was very knowledgeable, honest, and experienced.
This is the most common “detective” question. If your usage hasn’t changed, a high bill usually indicates a silent leak. The most frequent culprit is a leaking toilet flapper, followed by pinhole leaks in pipes or a malfunctioning irrigation system.
Most people want to know if they can DIY this. Usually, a drip is caused by a worn-out washer, O-ring, or cartridge inside the handle. Replacing these small rubber or plastic parts typically stops the leak and saves hundreds of gallons of water per year.
There is a lot of misinformation here. As a general rule:
NO: Fats/oils, pasta, rice, coffee grounds, or fibrous veggies (like celery).
YES: Cold water (always run it while grinding) and small food scraps.
This is a “Water Quality” category favorite. It usually indicates the presence of hydrogen sulfide gas. This can happen due to bacteria in your water heater’s anode rod or issues with the local water supply/well.
If your shower feels more like a drizzle, you might have a failing Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV), mineral buildup in the fixture, or a leak in the main line.
Homeowners ask this to weigh the upfront cost ($$$) against the benefits.
Pros: Endless hot water, space-saving, lower monthly energy bills.
Cons: Higher installation cost and may require gas line or electrical upgrades.
If you hear your toilet “ghost flushing” at night, the flapper is likely not sealing correctly, or the fill valve is set too high, causing water to pour into the overflow tube.
A seasonal favorite. The best methods include:
Insulating exposed pipes in attics or crawlspaces.
Letting faucets drip slightly during extreme freezes.
Keeping the home thermostat set no lower than 13°C (55°F).
Short answer: Yes. Most plumbers advise against “liquid gold” cleaners. They are caustic and can generate heat that softens PVC pipes or corrodes older metal pipes. Hydro-jetting or manual snaking is a much safer, long-term solution.
For a standard residential home, an annual plumbing audit is recommended. This allows a technician to check water pressure (which protects your appliances), test shut-off valves, and catch small leaks before they cause structural damage.
